A new Xeko mission has arrived! We review saving the planet with a card game, plus the new eco-friendly stuffed critter!

The environmentally friendly Xeko collectible card game has a new mission for you! Xeko Mission: Indonesia brings 120 new cards to the game in Xeko Training Kits or Booster Packs, plus a cute and cuddly stuffed eco-pal made of SoySilk. Here's Gary's review of these new Xeko cards and toys.

Hairy-Eared Dwarf Lemur Plushie

To celebrate the new set, the Xeko crew have come up with an eco-friendly stuffed critter - Harry. He's a hairy-eared dwarf lemur made from SoySilk - the stuff that's left over from making tofu. Sound gross? It isn't! He's totally cuddly and super soft.

What's New and Cool!

The Xeko card game is fun, easy to play and buying the cards helps support the environment. It hasn't changed much from the first set though and still has the same problems. This set adds a bunch of new cards to the game, each with beautiful artwork. The Xeko Training Kit is nice too - it's a wooden box (from a renewable forest!) with super-sized cards and a tutorial mat for new players.

Environmental Fun?

The Xeko card game just got a lot bigger with a bunch more cards that give you a chance to learn about, and play with, exotic animals from Indonesia. Even though it has the same old problems, it's a great environmentally friendly card game that anybody can enjoy.

Thumbs Up:

  • Full of fun animal facts.
  • Recyclable paper booster packs!
  • Money from each pack goes to the environment.
  • Easy to learn and fun to play.
  • Thumbs Down:

  • Still easier to win by losing!
  • Game Rating: 4
