Is taking a trip to the digital world a rush in the new Digimon games for the PS2 and DS? Find out with our video game reviews!
There are three big things happening in the Digital World of Digimon and Tamers! First is the new Digimon Data Squad cartoon that hits the tube on Sept 21, 2007. Second is the Digimon World Data Squad video game for PS2 that lets you play as Marcus Damon, the star of the new cartoon, and follow the adventure of the show. The third thing is the Digimon World: Dawn and Dusk games for the DS that let you play two sides of a story as a crisis splits the Digital World! You're on your own with the TV show, but we have the 411 on both video games right here with Gary's Digimon game reviews.
Digimon World Dawn and Dusk - DS Game Reviews
In the middle of a Digimon tournament a virus slams the Digi World! All the biggest Digimon turn back into digi-eggs and it's up to you to save the day by travelling the Digital World and battling infected Digimon. You can also tame and Digivolve over 400 Digimon, building a team of powerful allies. In fact, there's a lot of cool stuff in this game - from the awesome strategy battles, to raising Digimon on a customizable DigiFarm, to trading, battling and breeding your Digimon across the internet!
Dawn and Dusk are also two versions of the game, they're mostly the same but you start in a different town with different Digimon, and you can find different rare Digimon in each version. Even though the story comes from random quests and the dialogue was written by a monkey, Digimon World Dawn and Dusk are must-have games for Digimon fans and there's enough strategy to get other people interested in Digimon too.

Digimon World Dawn and Dusk Ratings:
Digimon World Data Squad - PS2 Game Review
The PS2's Digimon game puts you in control of Marcus Damon and a team of three Digimon as you investigate the mystery of disappearing kids! It's a solid game, with an awesome Galactica Evolution System that helps you evolve your Digimon into 140 different forms, even in mid-battle! The weird emotion control battle system changes your battle options depending on your Digimon's mood, which is cool, except when they refuse to let you use moves you need! Unfortunately, with some long load times and too-long battle moves, you'll spend a lot of time twiddling your thumbs. Hardcore Digimon fans will really enjoy this game, there's a lot for non Digimon fans too, unfortunately the way Marcus gets screamingly excited about absolutely everything is a real nuisance.PS2 Game Videos
