Put your skills to the test with the NERF N-Strike Disk Shot and see if you can blast foam disks. We review it.
NERF has a new toy for fans of dart shooting games! It's the NERF N-Strike Disk Shot, a plug-in disk launcher that lets you put your aiming skills to the test. What you do is shove the six foam disks into the back of the launcher, plug it in and turn it on. Then you load up the dart blaster and use the remote to make the launcher toss a target disc. When it launches, you shoot it down! Cool stuff, right? No.
Unfortunately, the launcher is packed with problems. For starters it sounds awful - like a dishwasher about three seconds before it blows up and spits your mom's favorite dishes across the room. You have to change the disk-launching angle by hand and they only launch a couple feet! Plus, if you really want to challenge a friend to a game of aiming skill, grab a NERF Blasters - Dart Tag Strikefire set and shoot at each other! It's way more fun.
