Back to Hogwarts
If you've played the other Harry Potter games from EA - like the Goblet of Fire or Prisoner of Azkaban, then you know how this game works. You control Harry or one of his friends and run around a 3D Hogwarts solving puzzles, completing quests and battling wizards - all by using magic spells that you learn as you play. You can also go on dozens of extra quests to find items and unlock more stuff.Big, Bigger, Biggest!
If you're a Harry Potter fan, this game is a dream come true! The folks at EA have rebuilt Hogwarts to let you go anywhere. Plus, with all of Harry's new spells you can go crazy - tossing rocks around, blowing stuff up and more. But, the coolest part of the whole game is waving your Wiimote like a wand to cast spells - it's incredible!Too Big for the Wii!
It's a huge game, but that's the problem - it's too big for the Wii! Nintendo's little white box can do a lot of cool stuff, but it doesn't have the power of an Xbox 360 or PS3. This makes the graphics a little choppy and a few parts of the game slow down as you're playing.Magic or Monstrous?
This new Harry Potter game has everything a fan could wish for, including a great way to cast spells. But, it's too big for Nintendo's little box - the game stutters and crawls just enough to make it a bit frustrating. It's still a terrific game with hours and hours of awesome Harry Potter fun, but it's not quite perfect.Thumbs Up:
