Sindy: You're going to be in Trick 'r Treat, due out this fall. Can you tell me what it's all about?
Jean-Luc Bilodeau: Trick 'r Treat is going to be scary. Really, really scary. I've seen some clips of it and it was pretty freaky. So there are four different stories of different people on Halloween and they're all intertwined by this one person, but they don't know each other. It's going to be freaky.
Sindy: You've been pretty busy - are you finding it hard to just be a normal teenager?
Jean-Luc Bilodeau: It's not too hard. I've got my weekends, so I get to chill with my buddies then. The only thing I'm kind of missing out on is school, and school's not that great. I mean, I do school on set, which is so much better. I mean, yeah, I'm busy but it's not too hard to keep things in perspective at this point.
Sindy: So what sort of interests do you have outside of acting?
Jean-Luc Bilodeau: I love hockey. Being Canadian, it's sort of mandatory. I've been dancing for eight years. I had to quit dancing so I'd have time for the show, but it's something I really enjoy.
Sindy: So other than your own, what are your favorite TV show?
Jean-Luc Bilodeau: You know, I don't really watch all that much TV. I always say to my friends, "I don't watch TV; I'm just on it." I do like Lost - I haven't seen too many episodes, but every time I do catch an episode it's like, "Whoa." It is really good. Prison Break is kinda cool.
Sindy: And finally... what advice would you give to other kids who are interested in pursuing acting?
Jean-Luc Bilodeau: Make sure you know what you're getting into. Don't think it's easy. Even auditioning to get, like, commercials is hard. You've got to be able to take rejection. I went on for about a year without getting anything. You just have to get used to it. Oh, and stay away from drugs.
Sindy: Okay, thanks for chatting with me.
Jean-Luc Bilodeau: No problem. See ya!
