I have never been much of a pop-music person, but I may have had a change of heart. Vanessa dragged me along with her to see the Pussycat Dolls play (with a bunch of her giggling girlfriends) and I have to admit it - I didn't hate it.
You're not going to see me scouring the iTunes Store for the Doll's latest tunes or anything, but - damn - those girls put on a good show. Have you seen that Buttons music video? Those ladies have talent! That's all I'm gonna say. Anyway, I may have discovered an appreciation for the Pussycat Dolls, but my friends sure haven't. They've been making jokes about how I'm going to win "The Search for the Next Doll" all week. Ha, ha, guys. Very funny.
Ben and his GF are still going strong. Like drooling-all-over-each-other-in-the-hallway kind of strong. I'm forced to roll my eyes at them so much that I'm beginning to worry that I'm causing permanent ocular damage. I don't actually think I have it in me to break them up - that's pretty underhanded, even for me. I guess I'm going to have to settle for watching it crash and burn from afar. Ah well.
I guess I'm going to have to head to a more "respectable" gig soon to get my dignity back. I definitely want to go to Warped Tour in the summer, so maybe I can drag Vanessa to that. It seems only fair. What kid of music do you all listen to? Do you have any suggestions for cool concerts to see this summer? !
Later,
Simon
