Everybody survive the weekend? Good, cuz it’s time for more of the latest gaming info and this week’s a busy one! Not only is the biggest lizard of all time going Wii, the massive Pokemon series has two new versions breakin’ stuff in Japan. Electronic Arts has some big video game stuff going on for girls and we have a preview of the new Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PSP video game. Pokemon Diamond & Pearl = Worth Their Weight in Gold!
The next big thing in Pokemon is coming in April 2007 with the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl video games for Nintendo DS. But, it came out in Japan in late 2006 and broke records by selling five million copies! If you’re getting your Pokemon groove on as you wait for the game to arrive in North America, get a load of the secret Pokemon Manaphy hidden in Pokemon Ranger. To unlock it, beat Pokemon Ranger and enter the secret Manaphy Egg Code, then you can transfer the egg to Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl and hatch your very own Manaphy!
EA’s Got Game for Girls
Electronic Arts is helping girls get their game on by being a platinum sponsor for, and hosting, the 2007 Women In Games International (WIGI) conference on March 6, 2007. The conference is all about how to make games girls will enjoy and has a whole bunch of chatter going on about the Sims series. Godzilla Goes Wii!
The giant green lizard is coming to the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP with a monster of a fighting game. Captain green and mean is even bringing all his monster friends for some serious smashy-smashy video game fun! Godzilla: Unleashed is the name of the game and it’s arriving in the fall of 2007, right when school gets back in. Check out these pictures and click em for a closer look.
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters Preview
The tag-team action of Ratchet and his robo-buddy Clank in their upcoming Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters game for the Sony PSP is getting even closer! Not only do these two have an adventure that has them battling bad guys across the galaxy, they also have a ton of mini-game modes, everything from destruction derbys to rocketboarding and even lemmings-style puzzles. It hits stores February 13, 2007 and Gary’s gonna have a review for you on February 12, 2007 - but for now check out these preview pics of Ratchet’s fire armor, Clank’s super-sized robot body, a big purple boss and a battle in deep space!
