Spyro the Dragon is the little purple guy with more fire power than an extra spicy burrito. It's up to you to lead the feisty fella through the Forgotten World. You'll be up to your eyeballs in running, jumping, fire-breathing action as you rescue the baby dragons and teach the Evil Sorceress a lesson.
The Forgotten World looks great. It's packed with smooth graphics, wild landscapes and some really cool levels. The levels are big, bright and full of tricks, jumps and mayhem. You'll end up skateboarding Tony Hawk style, sub-hunting and doing tons of other stunts.
The bad guys aren't too hard to defeat but there's a ton of 'em so watch yourself. The hordes of bad guys swap outfits depending on where they're lurking - lederhosen in the alps, knightly outfits in the castles and so on. They even have accents to match.
The best bits are the new characters. There's Sheila the Kangaroo, Bentley the Yeti, Sgt. Byrd the flying penguin (yeah, a flying penguin) Sparx the dragonfly and Agent 9 the space monkey. I don't know where he finds 'em but Spyro has the craziest friends. They all have special powers, tons of attitude and cool moves.
This game's packed with tons of Spyrolicious action, wicked bonus characters, great levels and some cool tunes to top it all off. Spyro really brings it home. Everything's good, nothing's bad and the Space Monkey tells me that you should play this game. He also wants a banana.
How Hard Is The Game?
The controls are a snap and the rest of the game is harder than Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, but still fairly easy.Age Rating:
