In the fantasy world of Dungeons & Dragons, elves dwarves, orcs, dragons and other fantastic creatures constantly battle each other. The Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures game puts you in command of these battles! We review the D&D Miniatures basic game here, but the War Drums expansion has more than just Booster Packs with 60 new warriors to collect - it also has a new Starter Set with simplified rules and more battlefield maps. The new rules speed up battles, but make it so cheap troops are useless unless they have the Mob ability. War Drums is also packed with orcs, orcs, more orcs and a side order of orcs. If you want a good-guy army with elves and dwarves, you're out of luck!
