It's about time! Sony has finally announced that the [kwlink]Playstation 3[/kwlink] video game console will drop on November 17, 2006 for the mind-numbing price of $500 US, or $600 US with a 60 GB HDD. Ouch! That's $550 or $650 if you live in Canada.When the PS3 drops, it's also going to have smokin' hot new controllers. The standard PS2 controller is getting [kwlink]powered-up[/kwlink] with more sensitive buttons, bigger shoulder (L1/L2/R1/R2) buttons, Bluetooth so they'll be wireless and cables so you can plug 'em in and charge 'em while you play.

Lucasarts is making a sequel to the [kwlink]2005 Video Game of the Year[/kwlink], LEGO Star Wars! It's LEGO Star Wars II and it's set during the 20 year-old movies. It's coming to the [kwlink]Gameboy Advance[/kwlink], Gamecube, [kwlink]Nintendo DS[/kwlink], PC, Playstation 2, [kwlink]PSP[/kwlink] and Xbox. You'll be able to load up all of 50 characters from the original [kwlink]LEGO Star Wars[/kwlink], plus there are also 60 new [kwlink]Star Wars[/kwlink][kwlink]characters[/kwlink] to unlock for a total of 110 characters for you and your friends to play with!
