Charlotte Church Gets Her Start
Charlotte Church was born in Llandaff, Wales and has loved music ever since she can remember. Charlotte Church had her first taste of show biz when she jumped onstage at a camp with her cousin and started belting out the Ghostbusters' song when she was just three and a half. When they finished singing her cousin left the stage, but Charlotte Church liked it so much she had to be dragged off. Five years later Charlotte Church was making the rounds singing in local karaoke competitions. One day Charlotte Church was watching The Richard and Judy Show and they said they were looking for talented kids. Charlotte Church called them up herself and the producers asked her to sing into the phone. Charlotte Church sang Pie Jesu and the next thing you know she was a guest on the show. Charlotte Church's parents were the last to find out!
