The giant ape, King Kong, is coming to theaters in November thanks to Peter Jackson, the genius behind the Lord of the Rings movies. But, he's also helping to pack the King Kong video game full of action, excitement, dinosaurs and the great ape himself. To get a Kong-sized dose of this action, we have the 411 on how to get the free game demo.

The King Kong video game demo is for your PC and has two levels for you to play. The first level has you playing a human and running like heck away from some super-hungry T-Rex dinosaurs who want to munch on you. The second level has you playing King Kong himself and laying some WWE-style smackdown on the dinos.

Downloading the King Kong PC Game Demo

Here's the 411 on downloading the King Kong video game, with step-by-step instructions.

1. Click Here to go to Peter Jackson's King Kong download page.

2. In the middle of the page is a big list of links, click on the one that says "FTP Ubisoft [289.6 MB]"

3. You'll get a "Save File As..." popup. Accept the file and choose to save it to your Desktop so it'll be easy to find later.

4. Now you'll start downloading the 290 MB file. Grab a banana and put on some good running shoes so you'll be ready for the T-Rex-dodging, giant-monkey action.

5. Once the game demo has downloaded, double-click it to start installing it.

7. Once the King Kong game demo is installed, double-click it to let the giant ape wrassle some dinos on your computer!
