We review the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith movie here!
This is it, the big show, the final moment, the last Star Wars movie, ever! It's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and it's all about goody-goody Jedi Anakin Skywalker becoming the evil Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith. Plus, there's all the drama of Padme being pregnant and and the Clone War as well. So, how does it all go down? Here's the scoop.
What's Goin' Down in Star Wars Episode III?
Grab your movie munchies and hang on, this sucker is one action-packed thrill ride that's loaded with enough special effects to turn your eyeballs upside down. It kicks off with a massive space battle and a Jedi special mission to rescue the kidnapped Senator Palpatine from the half-droid General Grievous to grab your attention. Then it goes all over the place with secret plots, evil generals, Yoda, Wookies, incredible Jedi battles, and an evil Sith Lord behind it all.
Revenge of the Sith - It's Good to be Bad
The best news is that it's two hours and 20 minutes of awesome Star Wars action. There are intense lightsaber battles and you can really watch as Anakin Skywalker gets twisted around and see what drives him to the Dark Side. Lots of scenes are creepy too - the kind of creepy where you're watching it start to happen and all the hairs on your head stand up. There are even Star Wars quotes that don't suck!
Revenge of the Sith - Big Bad News About the Big Bad Movie
|
Ok, the bad news is that there are some scenes that'll have you wondering, "What were they thinking?". Anakin's fall to the Dark Side is a bit weak too, he turns from good-guy to horrible villain really fast. Another problem that you'll have to watch for is the PG-13 rating, cuz when Anakin falls to the Dark Side, he falls hard. Watch it once before you bring your kid brother.
Revenge of the Sith - DVD Features
As if it wasn't cool enough just to own the final Star Wars episode on DVD, George Lucas and his movie-making pals had to cram the Revenge of the Sith DVD with tons of cool extras. Of course you'll hear commentary from George Lucas, check out deleted scenes and flip through pics in an exclusive Star Wars photo gallery! There are also game trailers for two new Star Wars video games. Pick up the DVD on November 1, 2005 to find out what else they've managed to pack into this tiny disc!
Revenge of the Sith - Bottom Line
The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones felt like an intro to a movie and Revenge of the Sith is the actual movie! It's two-and-a-half hours of wow that'll make you want to watch it again and then buy the DVD. The bottom line is that this flick is so much better than Episodes I and II, and the Episode III video game, that it'll make hardcore Star Wars fans cry.
