UK singer/songwriter, Joss Stone, is going to be the next Gap girl. She will be launching the Fall 2005 line and is taking over for Sarah Jessica Parker whose Gap contract just expired.

Justin Timberlake has signed on to portray Elton John in a new movie. Justin has reportedly been paid 30 million dollars to play the legendary pop star.

McDonald's is taking a different approach to marketing their meals. A new ad campaign hopes to entice rappers to sing about McDonald's sandwiches in their songs for a fee of $1 - $5 every time the song gets played on the radio. No mention yet of who might take them up on their offer.

Cameron Diaz had to be rushed to the hospital when she fell from a dresser and cut her head. Cameron was reaching for something up high when she fell, hit her head and was knocked unconcious. She had to receive 19 stiches.

For the first time since the reality TV show hit the air, American Idol experienced some technical difficulty. The wrong phone numbers were displayed on the screen for several AI singers, forcing FOX to air a second show for viewers to vote on. In the end, Mikalah Gordon was eliminated from the competition.

N*E*R*D frontman, Pharrell Williams has officially announced that the group has called it quits after they could not resolve disputes with their record label.

Britney Spears and hubby Kevin Federline were asked to leave two Beverly Hills' restaurants, after Brit refused to leave her dog, Bit Bit, outside. Both restaurants said health regulations prevented Bit Bit from being inside - but one of the two eateries eventually chased the couple down and let them in as long as Bit Bit stayed in her carry bag.
