Sindy: Favorite TV show?
Michelle Trachtenberg: Umm, my sister and I are addicted to Law and Order. We love all the shows - there are like fours shows out now - it's great. There's this design show on HGTV called Divine Design which is like the best show ever. Oh, and do you know what the best show is? House on Fox. It's great! I love it. I Tivo it every week. It's really good.
Sindy: Favorite Movie?
Michelle Trachtenberg: Umm, I like a lot of different movies. Taxi, The Princess Bride, Moulin Rouge...
Sindy: What are the three things you can't live without?
Michelle Trachtenberg: My cellphone, Nutella - I love Nutella. And this necklace that my mom just gave me that's gold with little diamonds and it says Believe. Cuz when I was just starting out I would be like, 'I'm never going to make it, I'm never going to be in movies and I'm going to do commericials forever.' But she would say I just had to believe in myself. So, I wear this necklace always.
Sindy: Are you used to things like paparazzi and tabloids at this point or is that something that you ever get used to?
Michelle Trachtenberg: No, I don't think you ever get used to that. It's weird when you've just woken up and you're trying to get your vanilla soy latte and there's some guy trying to take your picture and you're like, 'Hey, that's not cool dude. Why don't you go home? Get a life.' It's strange to think that someone is making money off of taking pictures of you. I mean my friends have pictures of me in pajamas, waking up at four in the morning after they've like drawn all over my face with make-up. Like, I'm sure those pictures would fetch some good money. It's strange.
Sindy: Craziest story you've read about yourself?
Michelle Trachtenberg: Probably just having yourself compared to other people or having people say stuff like, 'You don't see Michelle here and here because blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.' And you're like, 'Aww, don't say that.' Cuz that's not why I wasn't at a certain place or I didn't say something like that, you know?
Sindy: Do you ever get starstruck?
Michelle Trachtenberg: Yes, actually. I was just at the premiere of Ice Princess yesterday and Jodi Foster arrived. And Taxi is one of my favorite movies so I was just stuttering and speechless. I'm like, 'Oh my God. It's Jodi Foster.' I was really excited to see her.
Sindy: Do you have celebrity crushes?
Michelle Trachtenberg: Yeah. I would say, Johnny Depp and Joaquin Phoenix. I have a thing for the dirty, artsy types.
Sindy: How much down time do you get?
Michelle Trachtenberg: Not a whole lot. Any downtime I get I'll be hanging at home with my sister, watching the Law and Order DVDs or hanging out with my boyfriend or watching all of the movies I've missed.
Sindy: Advice you have for kids trying to get into the industry?
Michelle Trachtenberg: I think I would say that you just have to believe in yourself. You just have to reach for the stars and believe in yourself.
