Life can be so strange. Just when everything seemed to be completely falling apart, the one person I would not expect to help me out shows back up in my life. Aparently news travels fast around school about break-ups cuz just yesterday A.J. appears at my locker saying if I needed to talk about the whole Kaelin thing, she was there for me!

I had totally decided that A.J. And I were no longer friends, but honestly, she was exactly the person that I needed to talk to after all of this. She was there when we first started dating and she knows everything we've been through. It was so comforting to have her to talk to.

We ended up having lunch together in the courtyard and then she came over to my house after school. I was worried that I was taking her away from all her new friends, but she said she hasn't been very happy hanging out with them anyway!

I don't know if we should rush back into being best friends again or anything, but A.J. totally made me feel so much better about the Kaelin break-up. It would be cool if we could repair our friendship, but for now I'll just be happy with having a shoulder to cry on. Simon's always a good friend, but boys aren't always the most sensitive about these things.

So yeah. I'm slowly getting over Kaelin. It's hard, but I know that I'm better off without him. I could still use a bowl of ice cream right about now though. More about this later...
