The Sims 2 video game from
Electronic Arts is an
awesome game that lets you raise a family of virtual people, complete with
kids and
jobs. But, that's not enough! Now EA is releasing an
expansion for the awesome PC
video game -
The Sims 2 University. It drops in
March 2005 but we have the scoop on livin' the virtual university life right here, check it out!
What's up With The Sims 2 University Expansion?
The deal is that you can take your Sims and, when they hit the "
young adult" age, send them to university. They'll move to the
campus, live with a bunch of other computer Sims, go to
class, take exams, study,
party and more. They can check out an entire campus,
work part-time to earn extra money, join a fraternity or sorority - they can even join a secret society and do top
secret experiments in the school labs!

The coolest thing about
The Sims 2 University expansion is that, on campus, Sims get an
Influence bar that shows how popular they are - if it's high enough, they can order other Sims around. There are also four
new jobs your Sim can take if they get
good grades in the right courses. You can also try to fulfill a
Lifetime Want for your Sim, and if you pull it off, your Sim enters a lifelong Platinum mode and stops aging!
