Good Charlotte - Chronicles of Life and Death Rating:
Sum 41 - Chuck
Sum 41 jumps back onto the stage with their newest disc,
Chuck. The disc packs quite a punch with
hard rocking tunes that are quite a bit heavier than previous
Sum 41 discs - but we think you're
going to like it. It's the perfect CD to rock out to with your buds on
a Saturday night or you could pop it in just before that big game to really
pump yourself up!
Sum 41 - Chuck Facts
Chuck is named after the United Nations peacekeeper who helped to save the lives of the guys from Sum 41. The band was in the Democratic Republic of the Congo filming a documentary for the Canadian aid organization, War Child Canada, when their hotel came under fire. Chuck Pelletier, a soldier from Quebec, Canada, ushered the boys to safety, acting as a human shield.
Chuck Pelletier has never heard a Sum 41 track, but is excited to take in a Sum 41 show when he gets back to Canada, some time in December.
Sum 41 worked on music legend, Iggy Pop's, latest album, Skull Ring. When asked why he chose the Canadian punk act, he said, "Because they have balls".
Sum 41 and Good Charlotte will be co-headlining a tour starting October 21, 2004. Check your local concert listings to see if they'll be showing up in your city!
