A minister dad and a stay-at-home mom have their hands full raising seven children, not to mention caring for the friends, boyfriends and girlfriends who come and go in the Camden house! Through the ups and downs of dealing with today's problems, from teen suicide to gang violence, the Camdens stay balanced by focusing on family values and having a strong faith in God.

  • Hilary Duff's big sis joined the 7th Heaven cast for 13 episodes during their tenth season. Haylie played Sandy, Martin's pregnant girlfriend.
  • Jessica Biel, who played eldest daughter Mary Camden for seven seasons, left the show in 2003 cuz she was frustrated with her good girl character.
  • After a short absence, Barry Watson and David Gallagher returned in the ninth season. Matt was determined to save his failing marriage, while Simon was the first Camden ever to have premarital sex.
  • The show has had a ton of guest actors, from Ashlee Simpson to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Ashlee played Simon's girlfriend, Cecilia Smith, for two seasons and is now busy pursuing her booming singing career. The Olsen twins appeared on one episode as bad girls Carol and Sue Murphy, who got Simon into trouble at school!
  • Pop singer Aaron Carter joined the cast for a few episodes during the ninth season as Ruthie's crush, who she met in detention.
  • The show was scheduled to go off the air after the tenth season, but was renewed by The CW after higher than expected viewership for the season finale. You can catch 7th Heaven on Sundays at 8/7c on The CW.
