Long before she was pumping out chart-topping hits, Christina Milian was an actress. At a very young age, Christina landed the lead role in the musical Annie, and it was from there that her Hollywood journey began. When she was just 13, Christina moved to LA with her mom so she could pursue her acting career. It wasn't long before she was landing roles on shows like Charmed, Sister Sister and Clueless! She even lent her voice to the Disney hit animated flick, A Bug's Life and became a junior reporter for the Disney show, Movie Surfers.

Christina made her singing debut when she was featured on the Ja Rule track, Between You and Me, in 2000. Soon everyone wanted to know who the mystery girl singing with the rap star was. Her first album, which was self-titled, was released in Europe in late 2001, but because of record company conflicts was never released in the United States. But, instead of packing it in, Christina just kept on working. Her first CD received rave reviews over seas, so she focused on promoting it and continued writing and recording new tunes. Finally in 2004, her second album, It's About Time, was released in North America and her first single from the album, Dip It Low, hit radio waves. And you can guarantee you'll be hearing a lot more of Christina.
Christina Milian - The Movie Star
She started out getting small movie roles (like playing a band member in American Pie), and eventually went on to star in Love Don't Cost a Thing with Nick Cannon. That catapulted her to score bigger and better roles, like the lead in the flick Torque. You can also catch her (along with Outkast's Andre 3000) in the Get Shorty sequel, Be Cool, due out in early 2005.
