We soon find out that Kiara is very much like her dad - her adventurous personality usually gets her into trouble! When she's out exploring one day, she meets and befriends Kovu, a young and mischievous member of the Outland Pride. Since Kiara is heir to the Pride Lands, and Kovu has been chosen to walk in Scar's paw prints and take over the banished Outland Pride, they realize it is up to them to bring the two divided groups together.
