ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Canada and the United States (including D.C., excluding Puerto Rico, the U.S. Territories and the province of Quebec) between 7 and 16 years of age. Not open to residents of any jurisdiction where participation may be prohibited or restricted by law. Employees and their immediate families, including household members (whether or not related) of Kidzworld.com, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Paizo Publishing, LLC, (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities") and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, prize providers, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: Internet access is required to enter. This sweepstakes begins on or about 09/13/2004, 2:00:00 PM PT ("Start Date") and ends on 10/13/2004 5:00:00 PM PT ("End Date") (the "Promotion Period"). You can only enter this sweepstakes by completing a sweepstakes entry form which can be found at https://www.kidzworld.com/site/p4614.htm. Fill out all required fields denoted on the entry form and click on "Submit", at any time during the Promotion Period. Limit one entry per day, per person. Entries must be made within the Eligibility Area and received by Sponsor within the Entry Period. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules in all respects are ineligible and void.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: You or your parent/legal guardian must be the Registered and Authorized Holder of the E-mail Account through which the entry is made. For purposes of this sweepstakes, a "Registered and Authorized Holder of the E-mail Account" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet service provider, online service provider or other entity (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the secondary level domain name associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entries must be made by an individual from a single computer and may not be made by proxy, or electronic means such as script, bot, macro or any other similar software or program. Entrants' e-mails are collected for the sole purpose of this sweepstakes. Kidzworld will not sell, distribute or maintain entrants' e-mails, and shall delete all said e-mails upon the full conclusion of the sweepstakes. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all respects. Neither Sweepstakes Entities, nor their parent companies, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, nor any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected or illegible entries. The Sweepstakes Entities are not liable for lost, late, stolen or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledge or returned. All prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of minor winners. The Parent/Legal Guardian of Winner (on their own behalf and on behalf of their minor child) will be required to complete, sign, and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release.
DRAWINGS/PRIZES: Five (5) First Prizes ("FP"): Each FP consists of:
ARV of each FP is US$30.00. Total ARV for prizes in this sweepstakes is US $150.00. Prize does not include any expenses not specified in these Official Rules. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, if any. No prize substitution or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by the Sweepstakes Entities in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. In no event will more than the stated number or value of prizes be awarded. The Sweepstakes Entities: (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize, (ii) disclaim any implied warranty, and (iii) are not liable for injury, including death, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize or participation in this sweepstakes.
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning a listed prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received at the time of the drawing.
DRAWING: Winner(s) will be selected, by the Sponsor, within five (5) days after the End Date by randomly drawing from among eligible entries received during the Entry Period. All drawings shall be conducted by Sponsor whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the sweepstakes. Prize is not transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions are allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater approximate value due to prize unavailability. Canadian residents selected as winners will be required to answer a time-limited, unaided, skill based question prior to the awarding of a prize.
NOTIFICATION: Winner(s) will be notified by e-mail. Winner(s) will be given five (5) days from the time Sponsor sends an e-mail notice to respond and claim a prize. If Sponsor is unable to contact Winner(s) or if Winner(s) does not respond within five (5) days, prize will be forfeited and another potential Winner(s) will be selected at random.
FULFILLMENT: All prizes will be delivered to the Prize Winner(s) by regular mail. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for prizes lost or damaged in the mail.
GENERAL: This sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited. The winners agree that the Sweepstakes Entities, their parents, affiliates and their agencies and employees shall not be liable for any claim, action, injury, loss, liability or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or from the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. If, in Sponsor's sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this sweepstakes, any violation of these Official Rules, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes or none of them, using all entries received as of the End Date. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor or its agents.
WINNERS LIST and Official Rules: A winners list will be available fourteen (14) days after the closing of the sweepstakes.
