Water Fight Toys and Gear
Dec 27, 2006
Let the super soaking and water warfare begin! Kidzworld looks at some of the gear you need to have this summer's wildest water fight.
Super Soakers and Water Guns
The Super Soaker - Since the Super Soakers were introduced in 1989, water fights have never been the same. A Super Soaker's reserve tank and high-pressure pump gives it the ability to hold large amounts of water and reach targets from long-range. Two of the best in the Super Soaker series are the Arctic Shock and the Liquidator. The Arctic Shock is new to the Super Soaker line and has a frozen ice core that chills the water for a bitterly cold attack. This bad boy also has a maximum shooting distance of 35 feet! The Liquidator's high-pressure pump enables you to soak someone from up to 40 feet away! For more info on Super Soakers, head to www.supersoaker.com.
The Stream Machine - This baby is for serious water fights. It's not quite as stylish as the Super Soaker but it's much easier to use and has just as much soaking power. The Stream Machine can shoot up to 60 feet and can be refilled by simply plunging the end of the nozzle into a pool or bucket and pulling back the handle. It's perfect for quick reloading and maximum soakage. For more info on the Stream Machine, click here.
Wild Planet's Waterball ML-100 Single - While the Waterball ML-100 is fairly portable and easy to use, it has minimal soaking power and can only fire a few feet. If you're using this in a water fight against someone with a Super Soaker, it'll be game over in a hurry. You'd be better off spitting at your opponent.
Super Hero Water Toys
Spider-Man Splash-Rockets - You can now bring the powers of your favorite web crawler to your water fight with the Spider-Man Splash Rockets. Just fill the rockets up with water, toss them at your opponent and let the fun begin!
Spider-Man The Movie II - Web Water Tank Blaster - Get ready for the newest Spider-Man movie with the Web Water Tank Blaster! Strap the water tank on your back and start spraying with the special Spider-Man spray nozzle.
Water Fight Safety
Water fights are one of the best ways to cool off in the summer, but always play safe.
NEVER shoot anyone in or around the face or eyes.
Make sure you use clean water and don't use other liquids.
Only spray water at people who want to be involved in the water fight. Don't target innocent bystanders who aren't interested in getting wet.
Don't fire water at witches. It makes them shrivel up and die.
