It's up to you to guide the intrepid Buzz Lightyear through hordes of bad guys, high-speed chases and dangerous adventure in search of his arch-enemy Zurg. This action-adventure game is fast paced fun with a hero who's ego is bigger than his head.

The space lanes and city streets that Buzz races through look decent, not great, just decent. Buzz looks great, no problems there. But the baddies and the levels aren't too hot. Even the Dreamcast graphics are pretty dull. The best graphics are the video clips from the TV show. They don't always make sense but they look awesome.
Once you get past the graphics you hit the sound. The CD's allow for a good chunk of sound with each game, but it isn't very good. The ZAPs, BLASTs and KERPOWs are all pretty good but nothing stands out as really top-notch noise.
One thing this game does right is toys, toys, toys. A stack of weapons, teleport pads, rocket bikes and all kinds of new moves give you tons of stuff to mess around with as you blast the baddies. The levels are a high-speed race to the finish to catch the villain so there isn't much time to try out all the toys but if you've got a spare second fire up the hoverboard and give it a spin, it's the bomb.
