Doesn't it suck when you want to shoot hoops but your ball is flat? It means you either gotta play the game with less bounce or get the ball some air. Since mouth to mouth on your ball isn't much fun and doesn't really work, it means you need to track down a pump. If you have one - great. But if your dog chewed it up or your Mom ran over it with the car - then usually you end up playing a really crappy game of hoops.
Spalding and the NBA think they have some answers for you. They've come up with the Infusion basketball - a ball that comes with a built-in pump that allows you to add air to your ball whenever you want. You just unlock the pump from the ball, pump it up, then slip the pump back in. It's good for the backyard, the playground or the gym. If hoops aren't your game, a self-pumping soccer ball and volleyball are also available.
I think it's a good use because what if someone was playing ball and it got flat, then that person would have to go all the way home just to pump it up so I think its a good idea.
What do you think of a ball with a built-in pump? A cool time-saver or just another scam to get you to part with your allowance?
