Nintendo's pink puffball, Kirby, is hitting the racetrack at high speeds in Kirby Air Ride for the Nintendo Gamecube video game console. The Kirbster's new game is all about competing on different tracks, in different vehicles, and with different game modes that are all about having crazy fun!Kirby Air Ride High Speed Facts
The biggest thing about Kirby's new racing video game is that while you steer with the joystick, everything else - swallowing enemies, boosting, activating powers and more - is controlled by the big green 'A' button. Other than that, it's racing fun in three different modes, plus you can play each Kirby Air Ride mode in multiplayer with your friends!Kirby Air Ride Fast Fun
When it comes to fun, Kirby delivers. You get three modes - Air-Ride for regular racing action, Top Ride mode is like an old-skool top-view racing game, and City Trial where you power-up, then play a mini-game. There are 15 vehicles to unlock, hundreds of bonus challenges and features, tons of Kirby powers to use and the ability to play four-player multiplayer games with one Gamecube or by linking up multiple Gamecubes and TVs!Kirby Air Ride Lame Laps
There are a ton of cool things to do in Kirby Air Ride but they get stale fast. The biggest problem is the "one button" feature of the video game. It really limits your control while you're playing and it gets to be a serious pain.Kirby Air Ride Final Lap
Kirby's video game hits the racetrack with a ton of cool modes, fun options and a wacky new way to play. Unfortunately Kirby crashes and burns way too fast to make this game a real winner. It's an awesome game to rent for a party, but it's not a keeper.Kirby Air Ride Age Rating: Everyone.
