Gary reviews the Simpsons Road Rage video game for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance. Find out what its like to drive with Bart, Homer, Lisa and more of the Simpsons!
The Simpsons rule! So, getting to drive around Springfield with all the quirky characters sounds like a great idea! But.... it's not. I guess everybody makes mistakes, and some ideas really are better than others. Steel wool underwear, for example, is not a good idea! A two-day school week - now that would rock! What is The Simpsons Road Rage Like?
The Simpsons Road Rage for the Gameboy Advance is, well, kind of like scratchy underwear for the brain. In this updated version of [kwlink]Crazy Taxi[/kwlink], nasty Monty Burns has replaced Springfield's transit system and Homer and his peeps have to come up with a million dollars to get it back. So, the fine people of Springfield start up their own taxi service and try to get passengers to their destinations as quickly as possible. Prepare yourself. The Simpsons Road Rage Bottom Line
When you play The Simpsons Road Rage, you will feel rage but not at Mr. Burns and his dastardly scheme. You will rage at the poor graphics, bad maps and lack of Simpson-ness in this game. It's a good idea for a video game, it's just not very well done. The Simpsons Road Rage for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance is rated E for Everyone, but not for me!How Hard is The Simpsons Road Rage?
Like all road race games, it takes a little time to learn.Age Rating: Everyone.
