Look fashionable, no matter where you'll be learning this year.

Aug 14, 2020

Back to school style this year might involve a lot of pajama pants if you’ll be learning from home.  Even if you’re sitting in front of a computer for school, at least for part of the time, there are still plenty of styles you can look fashionable in while you’re on Zoom.  Check out some of fall 2020’s style trends to get you inspired for a new year!

Mom jeans

What was once considered “untrendy” by teenagers is now the hottest new style! People are ditching their skinny jeans for looser fitting ones. These throwback pants vary from high waisted, acid washed, vintage, straight, and more.

Crop tops

Cropped tees are a huge trend right now for a reason. They’re super cute and pair great with almost anything! You can even make one yourself:  Just take a regular shirt and cut it to desired length.

Tie dye

This style has been around for a while, but it’s definitely made a comeback! There are plenty of different patterns and colors to choose from, whether it’s a DIY style or a pre-made one. Wear tie dye on your shoes, your shorts, or on a sweatshirt!

Crocs

These casual rubber shoes were first popular back in the early 2000s but eventually lost popularity. Now, you can find a pair of crocs in almost anyone’s shoe collection.  They’re great for a relaxing walk in the park, or move the strap to sports mode for more vigorous activity.

Face masks

As we all know, COVID-19 has certainly put a damper on the school year. In most schools, face masks are required to be worn, so why not turn it into a fashion trend? There are so many different designs and patterns to choose from!

Vintage graphic t-shirts

Old band t-shirts should stay crumpled up in the storage room with the rest of your parent’s college clothes, right? Wrong! Vintage tees are back in style, and they’re taking the latest fashion trends by storm! Maybe you should ask your parents to get out their old Rolling Stone t-shirts after all.

Comfy sweatpants

Staying comfy while doing school from home is a must for most kids. Do just that by wearing some sweats! Pair them with a sweatshirt for the maximum level of comfy, or with a cropped sweater and a denim jacket to look a little more presentable.
