Who's In It?
The latest in the series of Harry Potter movies has all the stars from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and more. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are back as Harry, Ron and Hermione. Richard Harris, who played Dumbledore, passed away so they hired Michael Gambon as the head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The biggest news is, creepy Gary Oldman is playing the mysterious Sirius Black.When And Where Is It Filming?
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has already started filming. The first scenes were shot on February 24, 2003 in England. It's not going to be finished in time for the 2003 holiday season though. The Prisoner of Azkaban won't break into theaters until 2004.
Harry Potter Book News
They may have only started filming an adaptation of the third book, but JK Rowling is well ahead of those movie peeps. The fifth book in this popular series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will hit book shelves June 21, 2003. It'll be a nice, long summer read. At a whopping 768 pages, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is 100 pages longer than Goblet of Fire!
