If you're a fan of Jurassic World, or even the original Jurassic Park films, then you may be interested in one of the latest games coming to the Nintendo Switch. The team over at TT Games originally brought LEGO Jurassic World to consoles in 2015 but that was a time before we had the excellent Nintendo Switch in our hands. So if you're looking to revisit this re-imagining of the beloved films then you'll want to read on and catch all the details.
Welcome to Nintendo Switch
Though the title suggests this only takes place during LEGO Jurassic World, this package will take players through the highlights of the entire Jurassic Park series. As you can see in the trailer we've posted below, you'll recognize some of these scenes if you're a fan of the films and some characters like Dr. Ian Malcolm or Owen Grady still stand out even when they're in LEGO form. Some players may have already taken this adventure when LEGO Jurassic World released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and what felt like every other console under the sun back in 2015. There were reports of a few technical hiccups on Nintendo platforms with the previous release of the game, so the odds are high that this game will be in far better shape when it comes to the Switch. That's not the only update likely to come to this re-release.

Fortunately, this Nintendo Switch release also gives us a collection of 3 DLC packs included that were previously bought separately. These are the DLC packs included in the Switch version.
- Jurassic World DLC Pack: Gives players access to six new characters, two new vehicles, the JURASSIC Response Unit, the JURASSIC WORLD Shuttle, and more.
- Jurassic Park Trilogy Pack #1: Grants access to three characters and one vehicle including, Dino Handler, Eric Kirby and Paul Kirby, and the Animal Control Vehicle.
- Jurassic Park Trilogy Pack #2: Provides access to three characters and one vehicle including Jurassic Park Helicopter Pilot, Lex and Tim Murphy, and Dr. Ian Malcolm’s convertible.
Lots of LEGO
Of course, this isn't the only LEGO game we'll have our hands on this year. One of the most famous collections in the series, Star Wars, is getting re-released as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga later next year and will likely bring that familiar LEGO charm to your game console of choice. If you're looking for more details on the upcoming Star Wars game, check out our thoughts from the game's showing during this year's E3 showcase. Though LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga isn't releasing until 2020, you can pop LEGO Jurassic World onto your Nintendo Switch on September 17th, 2019.
