The Bottom Line
It's fair to say it's competitive for animated films these days - major players like PIXAR and Disney have raised the stakes for what we can expect from animation, and even from storylines. Keeping that in mind, there's still room for other ideas, and while Norm of the North doesn't amaze either in its animation style or story, it's still an easy watch - especially if say, you're stuck babysitting your younger siblings! Norm of the North has a nice overall message about animals and what we should think about when it comes to protecting their homes that's suited to young viewers.

Much like the movie, the Blu-ray doesn't have a ton of surprises, but the Deleted Scenes and Trivia are fun ways to end a night of movie watching. Norm of the North won't knock your socks off, but its a good choice if you're looking to turn your brain off for the night.
