Nintendo has announced that Pokkén Tournament will be launching exclusively for Wii U on March 18th.
PokkénTournament let's players battle it out with some of the most recognizable Pokémon out there in epic 1-on-1 fights. It is developed in part by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the acclaimed developers of the Tekken series. Now you see where Pokkén gets its name from. fun fact, the German arcade version of Pokkén Tournament is called Pokémon Tekken.

Nintendo's official release also states that those who "buy the first production run version of the game will also receive a special Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, which can be tapped to the Wii U GamePad controller to unlock the Shadow Mewtwo playable character in the game."
Here is the current character roster available in the Wii U version, launching this March. Sixteen Pokémon in total.
