MechWarrior: Dark Age, the game of collectible, tradeable, mech action figure toys is a game of strategy combat. Check out Kidzworlds game review here!
In the world of BattleTech it's the 32nd century and battles are decided with giant robots called BattleMechs. MechWarrior: Dark Age lets you control these giant robot warriors in battles to control the universe. You can collect your own MechWarrior: Dark Age BattleMechs and battle against your friends and other peeps, at home or in tournaments, to see who's the master of strategy combat. What makes MechWarrior: Dark Age so cool is the totally sweet miniature BattleMech figures. Rather than playing with virtual robots, as in other BattleTech games like MechWarrior 4 for PC, MechAssault for Xbox and MechCommander 2 for PC, you get awesome looking miniature robots that can actually move like action figures. Plus, you get the rules on how to battle - so you're not stuck going "Gotcha! - No, you didn't! - Yes, I did!" with your buddies.
MechWarrior: Dark Age is easy to learn and fast to play. If you know how to play Mage Knight, you're all set. Each fig is worth points - the stronger it is, the more points its worth. Each player chooses the same number of points of troops, you roll to see who moves first, then start moving your troops around and clobberin' each other!
MechWarrior: Dark Age mixes sweet action figures with a cool, easy to learn strategy combat game and makes it kick butt. You can even compete in tournaments to win prizes and fame. The only bummer about MechWarrior: Dark Age is that it can cost $$$ to buy a lot of figs to play with. You can check it out at game and hobby stores near you, or online at www.wizkidsgames.com/
