Cara has two older sisters, Chloe and Poppy - and Poppy is a model as well! Cara began modelling at just 10-years-old for Vogue Italia and in 2009 was signed by the same agency that signed legendary UK super model Kate Moss! She made waves in the modeling scene when she made her debut on the runway at London Fashion Week and landed the Burberry spring/summer campaign in 2011, and she remains one of the faces of Burberry.

Although she was in high demand, in 2015 Cara decided it was time to take a break from modelling and turn her attention to a new skill: acting! Cara got her first taste for acting in a non-speaking role in the 2012 version of Anna Karenina alongside Kiera Knightley as Princess Sorokina. She also appeared in some smaller British TV roles, and as a radio voice in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.
In 2015 Cara got a major acting break, co-starring in the movie adaptation of the John Green novel Paper Towns as Margo Roth Spiegelman. She received critical praise for her performance and officially told the press that modelling was taking a back seat. She's set to appear as a mermaid in the fantasty film Pan, Kids in Love (a coming of age drama), Tulip Fever (a historical romance.)
