The Fooo Conspiracy: Exclusive Interview & Music Video

Felix Sandman, OG Molander, Oscar Enestad, Omar Rudberg who make up The Fooo Conspiracy dish to Kidzworld on music, their perfect day, bullying and as a band where they are headed.

 

Kidzworld: What is the first song you remember hearing? Do you remember where you were?

• Omar: Some Spanish song back in Venezuela. I can sing it... but I don’t know what it’s called.  

• Felix: It was Michael Jackson’s Bad. I always used to walk around singing it. I have no idea of where I was the first time I heard it. I think I was too young.

• Oscar: My sister always played Aqua’s song Barbie Girl at home. That’s the first song I can remember.

• OG: The first song I remember is ‘We got it goin on’ by the Backstreet Boys. I was very young, so I can’t remember where.

Kidzworld: KW Members want to know, what is your favourite junk food go-to while on the road??

• The Fooo Conspiracy: PANDA EXPRESS! There is no doubt about this. We love Panda Express and it’s the absolute best thing to eat wherever you are.

Kidzworld: Do you get nervous during a performance? How do you handle your nerves? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: We always get nervous before a performance, but nerves come with adrenaline and that’s what gets us going. We handle all our nerves by focusing on making every show the best one so far and by giving it our all. Every performance is unique and we treat it that way.

Kidzworld: How long and how often do you practice?? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: We practice a lot. It’s different from week to week as we’re all still in school. We always work together all weekends and when we have the time, we also work after school.

Kidzworld: What was the very first concert that you ever attended? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: The first concert we went to as a group was Jay-Z’s last year. Oscar’s first show was one of Shakira’s and OG’s first concert ever was one of Backstreet Boys’s.

Kidzworld: How would you describe your most perfect day? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: It’s different for all of us, but we’d probably all have a perfect day spending it with our families and loved ones. It’s those small moments that we don’t have anymore, because of always being busy. You cherish them more and those make up a perfect day. Also, a very perfect day would be if we’d get Six Flags to ourselves for an entire day.

Kidzworld: Who are some of your favourite artists, composers, bands or other musicians past or present? Would you say any of them influenced your music? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: There are so many. We have a great deal of dancers that we look up to. Bam Martin, Anthony Lee, Quest Crew, Quick crew and Keone Madrid just to mention a few. Musically we’d have to say Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Usher and Ed Sheeran. Usher and Justin are such huge inspirations both musically, but also as dancers.

Kidzworld: What moves you? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: Honesty, passion and happiness. There is nothing like seeing someone living out they’re passion or people who are truly happy. It’s inspiring and it spreads.

Kidzworld: If you could jump into a time machine and give your younger self a piece of advice; what would you say? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: The only one who would use that time machine would probably be Oscar, who’d go back in time to tell his younger self to NOT die his hair platinum blonde. Besides that, there is no reason to use it. Everything happens for a reason and even the mistakes are good to make. You learn by making mistakes and you grow as a person.

Kidzworld: What is the thing you absolutely love about yourself?

• The Fooo Conspiracy: That we’re absolutely crazy! We are very spontaneous and love to do things out of the box. We try to be creative in everything we do and just give people a happy feeling with our work.

Kidzworld: What causes are you involved with? What message would you like the world to know a little bit more about?

• The Fooo Conspiracy: We were on an anti-bullying school tour last year in the US. It’s very important to us to take a stand, because bullying is something that is common everywhere you go in the world and could have such devastating impacts on someone’s life. We want people in our age to be aware of this and to take a stand themselves and also for people who are getting bullied to know that there is help you can get. We don’t want anyone to feel like they’re unseen or worthless. We see you.

Kidzworld: What song that you have made are you most proud of and why? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: It would probably be our new track Roller Coaster. It’s such a good song and we had so much fun shooting the video with Ali Simpson. It is one of those songs that make people smile and gives people a rush. That’s why we love it. It makes us proud that it makes people happy.

Kidzworld: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 

• The Fooo Conspiracy: We’re still together as a band. Hopefully we’ve taken over the world and we‘re probably out on the greatest world tour ever where we get to give our audience a big party with lots of dancing, singing and parkour. We also all have at least one dog each and have visited and enjoyed many different cultures around the world.

Did you know...? Justin Bieber discovered this band while browsing YouTube. JB liked The Fooo Conspiracy so much that he had his management reach out and invite them to open one of his shows?! How's that for a little Pay-it-Forward YouTube Love! For those of you that don't know, Justin Bieber was himself discovered on YouTube.
