During Microsoft's stage presentation at Gamescom 2014 this morning, Microsoft dropped a megaton bomb on gamers around the world...
Rise Of The Tomb Raider, the sequel to 2013's Game Of The Year nominee Tomb Raider, is coming exclusively to the Xbox One console, Holiday 2015.
It hasn't been confirmed whether this is a timed exclusive or not. But we'll update you when we hear for sure. Either way, it's huge news for fans of the Tomb Raider series and Xbox and Sony fans alike. 2013's brilliant reboot of Tomb Raider was critically acclaimed and sold very well. Appearing on both Xbox 360 and PS3.
But the much anticipated follow up, Rise Of The Tomb Raider, is now coming out exclusively for Xbox One. Leaving Sony PlayStation 4 fans in the cold at the moment. How much Microsoft paid for this exclusivity is anyones guess. It won't have been cheap. But it's a bold move.
