It wasn't that long ago that French advertisements were leaked, revealing that a game from TT Games was in the works based around The Hobbit films, from Peter Jackson. Now we know what LEGO: The Hobbit will look like and well, it looks to be a lot like what we've seen before from the LEGO games and that's a good thing.
LEGO: The Hobbit looks to follow the films beat for beat, albeit with the usual extra winks at the camera that TT Games are known for. It only covers the first two films though -- read our Desolation Of Smaug movie review -- not the third as that movie won't be out by the time of the games rough window which is Spring/Summer 2014. Like the past few games, it will be fully voice acted as well.
The trailer shows Bilbo, Thorin, Gandalf, the White Orc and more. With great little silly details, like a "pop" sound when Bilbo's hair is pulled off. The game is also looking really sharp graphically. But enough explaining the trailer, just watch it for yourself and enjoy.
Thanks to IGN for sharing the trailer.
LEGO: The Hobbit will be released on 3DS, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC (A Mac version is planned for the future).
