Chemistry Lesson
This was one of the best weeks of the competition because we got to see the models transform from amateurs to high fashion models with one quick makeover! But before that, Tyra and Rob Evans addressed a rumor going around that they were a couple - it's not true! But they did cling to each other to teach the models the three steps of portraying intense chemistry in a photo shoot:
- Fresh Breath
- Tension
- Inhale
After that, the models tried to bring sexual chemistry to their photo shoot with a fellow model, along with either Rob Evans or international supermodel Alessandra Ambrosia. Most of the models had trouble bringing it on set, especially Chlea, who was paired up with Marvin, and Mike who has no modeling experience and didn't know how to move or position his face.
Makeovers!
Okay, now for the makeovers! Unlike other seasons, no one fought the judges and stylists on their new looks, though Cory had trouble accepting his freshly shaved head. Phil embraced his new weave, as did many others such as Chlea, who got a long blonde weave; Jiana, who received a short bob; Alexandra, who went brunette; Kanani, who's sporting a Halle Barry do; Jeremy and Mike, who are embracing their highlights; Nina, who's now a redhead; and Jourdan, Don and Chris H. who are having more fun as blondes! After receiving new hairdo's, the guys thought they were done, but they were just getting started. Next order of business: manscaping!
Elimination
There was no challenge this week, so the social media scores were super important. After struggling through his photo shoot, it came as quite a surprise when the judges awarded Mike best photo, especially since he nearly went home last week. Jiana received the runner up photo. In the end, only Don and Chlea were left standing: Don because he looked like a thug in his photo, and Chlea because she looked like she wanted to get away from Marvin in hers. Ultimately, it came down to the combination of judges and social media scores, and Chlea - the only fiercely real girl in the competition - was eliminated.
