Hey, Kidzworld Gamers!
Do you like Skylanders? Do you like Disney? Do you like to create new worlds? Then you better keep on reading because Disney Infinity is shaping up to be a young budding game designers dream come true!
Disney As You've Never Experienced It!
Welcome to the wonderful world that is Disney Infinity, from Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software. What the developers have done at Avalanche is take the winning formula established by Skylanders -- You know, the game where you bring your toys to life via the portal -- add a ridiculous amount of lovable and memorable Disney characters, including favorites such as Buzz Lightyear, Jack Sparrow and Mike & Sully, and then give you complete freedom to create a never ending virtual playground for you and your friends to play in via the new Toy Box Mode.
And I truly mean create and play. You can let your imagination run wild! No matter your console of choice, Xbox 360, PS3 or WiiU, if you feel like building the craziest obstacle course with all sorts of scary, swinging electric poles. You can do that! How about a battle arena where you take all your favorite characters into a fun royal rumble? You can do that too! You can even make your own 2D platformer…like Super Mario Bros! You truly can design, build and share to your hearts content, the only limit being your imagination.
Check out some examples of what you can create in the Disney Infinity Toy Box trailer below!
The Starter Pack, which will be most gamers first purchase, includes the base game with three virtual stories, The Incredibles, Monsters University and Pirates of the Caribbean, and you get one character for each. That gives you access to 3 characters right from the start. The Starter Pack will also include an Upgrade Token, which will add unique powers to you character, as well as the necessary Infinity Base to bring the toys to life! There will be roughly 30 unique and collectible toys in total. So don’t worry, your favorite Disney movie characters will be available!
