The Duel
Naomi wants nothing more than to have a normal relationship with her half brother Mark, but Annie keeps interfering. She lands him a job opportunity in New York City where he can work at a famous restaurant. Annie is just trying to help him, while Naomi is only thinking of herself. Both girls wind up competing, putting their friendship on the line. Naomi tries to force Adrianna on him, but Annie lets him know about Ade's sketchy past. While the two girls bicker, Adrianna overhears them say awful things about her. Somehow though, she accepts their apology.
The Surfboard Sponsor
Liam decides to use the empty space beneath the Offshore Pub to open up a new surfboard studio where he can design a line of surfboards just for women. A cute competitive surfer sees one of his surfboards on the beach and commissions him to make her one. She even offers to sponsor him. While designing her surfboard, things get steamy between Liam and the surfer, quickly complicating their business relationship. But it gets even more complicated when Liam finds out that she's married.
The Marketing Job
No longer part of the elite sorority at CU, Navid applies for a competitive marketing job. The sorority leader, Campbell, tells Navid that he'll never get a job like that, and the man conducting the interview seems to agree since Navid has no marketing experience. So Navid invites the man and his daughter to the launch of Liam's surfboard line where Navid quickly puts together a huge marketing campaign. Impressed, the man agrees to hire Navid. But then Liam overhears Campbell say that he's setting Navid up to take the fall for something big.
The Music Video
Silver and Dixon's schedules are conflicting. Dixon is trying to shoot a music video with Michaela, one that will launch his career in the music industry and help Silver become a filmmaker. But then Silver receives a call that changes everything. Because of Michaela's hormones, she needs to go to the lab on the day they're scheduled to film. Dixon is forced to eat the costs of the set and the dancers, putting him seriously in debt. But what choice do they have? This is Silver's only chance to have a baby. Luckily, Silver fixes the situation by hiring a flash mob and putting together an impromptu music video at Liam's surfboard line launch.
