The Half-Brother
With Max out of her life, Naomi is desperate to fill the void. So she hires a private investigator to find her and Annie's half-brother, a taco truck vendor named Mark. Naomi hosts a food truck competition, and even gets celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck to judge. Naomi sabotage's Mark's biggest competition so that he'll win, but this only makes Mark angry. He wants nothing to do with Naomi, but she won't take no for an answer. Her persistence leads to a truck fire, followed by an accident which only serves to push Mark further away.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
As Liam prepares to testify against his stalker, Ashley, he experiences symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. He nearly strangles Adrianna at the court house, thinking momentarily that she's Ashley.
Battle of the Bands
Annie invites Dixon to a college Battle of the Bands so he can scout the local talent. After all, if he doesn't sign a new star soon, his record label will fall by the wayside. Meanwhile, Adrianna his trying to revive her good reputation after destroying it at Naomi's charity when she stripped on stage. So she agrees to sing with a band that lost their lead singer. The food truck crash interrupts their performance, which she thought she was nailing. Unfortunately, the band members only asked her because they thought she would strip again.
Rebellious Surrogate
Silver is watching her surrogate mother, Michaela, round the clock, insisting that she eat and do all the right things. Unfortunately, Michaela is a little more of a rebel than she first let on. When Silver finds out that she slept with Navid on her first night in town, she's furious.
Unfair Expectations
Meanwhile, as much as Navid wanted to be a part of the elite fraternity at CU, it comes with his downfalls, including the expectation that he will help his frat members cheat on exams. It goes against his moral code, but in order to remain in the fraternity, he has no choice.
