This week on Glee (Season 4, Episode 11) Tina proposes a Sadie Hawkins dance at McKinley, getting everyone's romantic side out. Find out more in the Kidzworld Recap of "Sadie Hawkins" which aired January 24th 2013.
Girls Chase Boys
Coming back from an extended Christmas hiatus, Glee jumps right back into some serious romantic hijinx at McKinley High when Tina proposes that the school have it's first Sadie Hawkins Dance, where the girls have to ask the boys. Tina has developed a crush on her gay BFF Blaine, but when she asks him to the dance he flat out turns her down. It looks like Blaine now has a crush on his straight BFF Sam, but who is Sam interested in? The Warblers. Not romantically, he's interested in a theory he's cooked up that they're taking performance enhancing drugs to win. Brittany gives Marley some tips on how to take control with Jake and she tells him she wants to be the only girl, and while Kitty is apparently her friend, she just loves a little competition. Strangley enough though, she ends up intriguing Jake older brother Puck with her sassy attitude.
In the end Blaine does take Tina to the dance, but spends the whole time looking longingly at Sam, Sugar and Artie rekindle their romance after a little encouragement from Coach Bieste, who also helps Lauren and Joe to connect.
New York
Back in New York Rachel has started to get serious with Brody after a late night date, but when he pitches up 45 minutes late for a dinner she made him she thinks she has a right to be angry - never fear though, super slick Brody calms her down and pretty soon she's inviting him to move in with them (without checking in with her current roomie Kurt first, uh oh!)
Meanwhile Kurt is starting his first semester at NYADA and discovers The Adams Apples, NYADAS own form of a Glee Club. He wants to join, but Rachel warns him that they are the lowest on the totem pole at school, but after rejecting their offer Kurt sees the talented Adam everywhere and eventually asks him out and the two are set to go on a date!
