Spooky Stories
Dreamworks Spooky Stories is a collection of old and new Halloween Specials including Shrek’s Thrilling Adventures, Scared Shrekless and Monsters Vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space as well as some fun new animated shorts that will get you howling with laughter and fright!
Scared Shrekless
Spooky Stories features three stories from the Scared Shrekless Halloween special, where the cast of Shrek decide to see who has the scariest story while spending the night in Lord Farquaad’s haunted castle:
- "The Bride of Gingy": Gingy’s harrowing tale of the creating the perfect sugary-sweet baked companion with the help of the Muffin Man turns into a domestic nightmare.
- "Boots Motel": Donkey and Puss find themselves at an abandoned motel and each of them has a different version of this Psycho-inspired event
- “The Shreksorcist”: Shrek tells the story of Gepetto hiring a babysitter for the night to get the seemingly-possessed Pinocchio in line.
- "The Pig Who Cried Werewolf": A new addition to the stories, the three little pigs to try figure out what their neighbour the werewolf is up to one dark and stormy night.
And More…
- Monsters Vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space: After a visit from a spaceship, a farmer’s pumpkin patch produces mutant pumpkins that have a sweet tooth of their own.
- Night of the Living Carrots: An all-new continuation of the Mutant Pumpkins, this time a carrot patch infected by the mutant pumpkins starts turning trick-or-treaters into zombies.
- The Ghost of Lord Farquaad: Originally part of Shrek 3D, Shrek and Donkey try and rescue Fiona after she is kidnapped by the vengeful ghost of Lord Farquaad.
- Shrek’s Thrilling Adventures
This is a great collection of terrifying tales to curl up with this Halloween, and extras include optional pop-ups for the "Night of the Living Carrots", and the World of DreamWorks Animation, which features songs and DVD/Blu-ray previews from Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, and Megamind.
