Summer is almost over! That may sound terrible to some of you, but others may be bored with nothing to do already. Luckily, we do have a few games arriving at the tail end of the season. This week we preview New Super Mario Bros. 2, Persona 4: Arena, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron!
New Super Mario Bros. 2
It can be hard to pay the bills when you are constantly out rescuing princesses. Bowser has kidnapped Peach again, but Mario is in no rush to save her. While traveling through the 80+ levels of the game, try to grab one million coins! New Super Mario Bros. 2 is all about the gold. There are gold versions of the classic power ups, such as the golden fire flower that turns enemies and brick blocks into coins. There is even a new power up where a brick block gets stuck on Mario's head and coins spew out everywhere while you run! A special surprise awaits you if you get that one million, but will you be able to do it before saving the princess?
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron!
Fall of Cybertron is the sequel of Transformers: War for Cybertron and features third-person perspective shooting action. Autobots and Decepticons continue their battle over their homeworld. As you play, you can customize your robot of choice with upgrades, such as new weapons that fire faster. For online multiplayer, you can create your own Autobot or Decepticon using hundreds of different pieces and paint jobs.
Persona 4: Arena
If you liked Persona 4, Guilty Gear, or BlazBlue, you have to check out Persona 4: Arena! This game combines the characters and their personas from the popular Japanese RPG game with the technical, combo-frenzy fighting action that Arc System Works is known for.
