Baby in the Business
At just 26-years-old Troian Avery Bellisario has already had an onscreen career to be proud of. Born in Los Angeles to television producer Donald Bellisario and actress Deborah Pratt, it’s no wonder she’s in the business! In fact, her stepbrothers are also actors, Sean Murray and Chad W. Murray (who you may know from One Tree Hill). Troian has a diverse cultural background including African American, Italian, Serbian and French heritage. She jumped into her first role at 3 years old in the movie Last Rites.
Television Teen to College Cutie
Troian knew early on that acting was her life’s passion and appeared in several TV shows during her teen years, including Quantum Leap, Tequila and Bonetti and in JAG. She also appeared in the film Billboard Dad. When Troian hit her college years she wanted to prove that she was serious about her chosen career path and enrolled in the [kwlink 24493]Theater[/kwlink] program at The University of Southern California. During university she honed her acting skills by performing in many classic plays, such as Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and All’s Well That Ends Well.
Sittin’ Pretty
After university Troian continued to pursue acting both onstage and on the small screen and performed in several plays in the Los Angeles area and on TV in shows like First Monday and Navy NCIS. She also starred in independent films Consent and Peep World, but It wasn’t until she landed the part of Spencer Hastings on Pretty Little Liars that she became a familiar face to audiences everywhere!
