Dragons Galore

Dragons Exalted will feature a new type for the Pokémon Card Game: the dragon type. Just like in the video game, dragons have a weakness to other dragons, but they also pack a mean punch against any other pokemon! Also included in the set are six new EX Pokémon, each with a full card art and normal art version. There will be over 120 cards in the set, with a possibility of some secret rares as well!

Sneak Preview

Milotic, Registeel-EX, and Altaria have been revealed this week. Milotic evolves from Feebas and its first attack, Clear Search, allows you to search your deck for any three cards! This is a powerful search attack, even better than Zoroark and Liepard’s Nasty Plot attack. However, it is an attack, which means you won’t be able to use the cards right away and there is a chance that your opponent might throw a wrench into your plans with N or Hooligans Jim & Cas. Also, Milotic is a stage 1 pokemon, which means you won’t be able to use its attack on the very important first turn.

Registeel-EX

Registeel-EX is a powerful 180 HP pokemon that can dish out a total of 90 damage with three of any type of energy, making it easy to run in almost any deck. Too bad special metal energies are no longer in format, as they would make Registeel-EX’s Protect Charge attack even better! Finally, Altaria is an interesting support card in the Dragons Exalted set. If played, it is probably for its ability to increase the attack of other dragon pokemon.
