Breaking Up
The season finale of season 3 focused on graduation for many of the show’s stars. Rachel completely choked on her audition to NYADA, but Jesse St. James’ glowing recommendation and plea with the dean landed her admission!! Unfortunately, Finn doesn’t get into acting school in New York, so the couple has to make a choice: stay together or go different ways? Rachel decides to defer her admission for a year, so Finn has time to reapply. But, Finn says he doesn’t want to hold Rachel back, so he enlists in the army and makes Rachel go to New York, alone and single.
The Graduates
A ton of Glee’s stars are graduating and moving on to new challenges. Quinn accepts her offer to Yale, but not before she confesses her love for Puck. Santana gets some financial help from her mom (guest star Gloria Estefan), which lets her follow her dreams of going to New York. Mercedes heads to LA to record an album as a backup singer, and Mike is off to Chicago to do ballet.
But, not everyone is happy. Kurt is devastated to find out that he did not get into NYADA, but Rachel did. Now he is stuck in Ohio. Likewise, Brittany’s grades aren’t good enough to graduate, so she will have to repeat senior year.
