Well, it's been awhile since we had an update! Not many kid-friendly games came out in April and, unfortunately, it looks to be about the same for the month of May. This week we'll be looking at a few Xbox Live Arcade games, but they're good ones! Check out Fable: Heroes, Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, and Starhawk!
Fable: Heroes
The heroes of Albion are out for a rough and tumble time. Fable: Heroes is a semi-3D side-scrolling brawler. Play with friends and beat up baddies to earn coins for upgrades. If you enjoyed games like Castle Crashers or Scott Pilgrim, you'll love this button masher. The graphics are amazing and the game also features several mini-games, Mario Party style.
Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition
The super successful and fun indie game, Minecraft, has been out for the PC since last November. However, the Xbox 360 Edtion that comes out this week on XBLA will feature Kinect support, a different crafiting interface, a tutorial mode, and 4-player split screen. It has been announced, however, that not all features will be available immediately. But, as we all know, Minecraft has the tendancy of updating all the time with cooler and crazier things.
Starhawk
Starhawk is a PlayStation 3 exclusive game. This third-person shooter/real-time strategy hybrid game is a spiritual successor to the excellent Warhawk game that came out a few years ago. Build up your defenses and armories in the third-person perspective and hop into your flying mechs to battle with up to 32 players online! The game also features single-player story mode and a co-op mode.
