About the Movie
When wily and resourceful Hugo (Asa Butterfield) discovers a secret left by his father, he unlocks a mystery and embarks on a quest that will transform those around him and lead to a safe and loving place he can call home. The film is set in 1930s Paris, and Hugo is an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station. He steals mechanical parts to fix a broken automaton, a project his father was working on before his death. Can he fix it in time to discover the truth or will he be searching for the secret the rest of his life?
