It's valentine's week! If you are still looking for that last minute gift for your video game guy (or girl!), or if you are just planning to relax at home, there are lots of great games coming out this week that you should check out. This week we take a quick look at Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics, SSX, and Rhythm Heaven Fever!
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics
The Wii version of the game already came out in November, but if you are itching to take the Olympic games on the road, then you will be happy to see the 3DS version of the game coming out this week! Over fifty Olympic-based events have been remade into quick mini-games that uses the touch screen, motion control, microphone, or the camera.
SSX
Short for Snowboarding Supercross, SSX arrives this week for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Unlike the fictional places of past games, this time you get to snowboard down real locations, such as the tall Himalayas and the freezing cold Antarctic. Gameplay will include avalanches, helicopter drops, wingsuits, and lots of awesome snowboarding tricks.
Rhythm Heaven Fever
The silly and fun Rhythm Heaven series arrives on the Wii! Just like in the original, Rhythm Heaven Fever will have you playing through many different mini-games in rapid fashion. In order to pass each level, you will need to perform the correct action and also time it to the rhythm! Instead of the touch screen, Rhythm Heaven Fever will only use button pushes. The game features over fifty levels and you can also unlock extra content, such as the levels from older games in the series.
